A Cold Wynter’s Knight has arrived!!

I’m super-excited about my latest release! Advance reviews are coming in and readers are LOVING it, so I’m excited for everyone to pick up their copy of my latest and greatest, just in time for the new year!!
What makes me so excited about this? I think it’s the fact that I get to write another de Reyne book. I love the de Reyne family and they are, really, everywhere in my books, though mostly secondary characters. Guardian of Darkness was my first de Reyne book many years ago and I was always in love with Creed de Reyne and it was my intention to build a big series on him, but de Wolfe and de Lohr and de Russe kind of took over everything. So – I’m returning to de Reyne and hope to continue building on it.
On with the description!
**************
1260 A.D. – Dogged by sinister rumors courtesy of a jealous older brother, Gage de Reyne becomes a mercenary known as the North Wind – destructive, powerful, and cold as ice. But a chance meeting with a childhood friend Lady Wynter de Thorington brings about a spark that could melt the glacier he’s become.
Or it could burn down his entire world.
Wynter knew Gage as a child and, truth be told, she had quite a fondness for the big, silent, powerful younger sibling of a petty but powerful older brother. She’s heard the rumors, how Gage was driven out because he’d tried to steal his brother’s inheritance, but she simply can’t believe it was true. The Gage she knew was, above all, an honorable lad.
An honorable lad who grew up into an honorable, tremendously skilled knight.
When Gage and Wynter’s reacquaintance goes from a spark to a roaring blaze, they make a decision that will change their lives forever. Now, Gage is accused of coercing the heiress to the powerful de Thorington fortune into marriage, fortune and power that easily rivals his brother’s. Because of this, it appears that all of the rumors have been true – but rumors can be deceiving.
In this case, Gage is far more noble than anyone gives him credit for.
Join Gage and Wynter on an impossible and thrilling adventure of battle, passion, and the quest to bring the truth to light for a man who has been very badly slandered. In the end, it’s not the rumors or his prowess on the battlefield that define Gage de Reyne.
It’s the size of his heart.
Wynter’s cold knight is anything but cold…

Just a note – you’ll notice on Goodreads (if you use Goodreads) that the book description is wrong. That’s because they are using the original book description before I altered it slightly. Originally, Gage was going to be a tournament champion, but this book came after The Black Storm and The Dark Conqueror (coincidentally), so I didn’t want to write about ‘one more’ tournament champion so soon after the others, so Gage the Tournament Knight became Gage the Mercenary – and it worked out much better that way. Goodreads is just extremely slow to change anything, so just don’t pay any attention to what’s there.
And now, onward – go forth and click on your platform of choice. KINDLE UNLIMITED readers – the novel will be in Kindle Unlimited on Thursday 12/30 (just two days away), so hold tight – it’s coming!! I want you to read it there!! Remember – KU helps authors!!
