Coming Books – Summertime reading!
I’ll have one book each month released through the summer – June will see SILVERSWORD, July will see EVER MY LOVE: THE LORE OF THE LUCIUS RING (my segment is called OF LOVE AND LEGEND), and August ‘should’ see THE IRON KNIGHT (or I might even slip in OF MEN AND ANGELS because it is a de Lohr dynasty book), so there is a TON of good stuff coming up. I can’t believe it’s already June! Sheesh!!
What’s up for the rest of the year? Well, my release schedule tends to be kind of fluid. I’ll be honest – it really depends on what I ‘feel’ like writing. The muse has to sing strongly for me to work on a book. Nothing is worse than trying to write a book that you’re just not in to. You’ve heard the term “the muse sings” and, let me tell you, it’s the TRUTH. The muse has to sing very loudly to me in order for me to work on a book and my muse has never failed me, so I trust it. Sometimes she’s a little crazy, but she’s never wrong! lol!
What else is coming up for the rest of the year? Many things! I’ve written the next book in The Lore Chronicles (the books based on poems or tales by Edgar Allan Poe), and that will be included in a Halloween Collection of NEW material with several other fellow authors including Eliza Knight. I’m also going to be in another Christmas collection that will feature some of today’s biggest authors. Can’t reveal any names now but trust me when I say it’s some of Romance’s TOP names. Then, of course, I have my own releases – big books – that will be coming between now and the end of the year and on into next year. I usually plan my schedule a few years out, so 2017 is nearly set and 2018 and 2019 are already planned. Lots of GREAT stuff coming your way!!
Fun fact about the Halloween story I’m working on: it’s called DEEP INTO DARKNESS and the hero and heroine in it are going to be featured in a full-length book early next year. Jamison Munro, a Highlander, and his wife, Havilland de Llion (who has been raised as a warrior along with her two sisters) are quite a couple. He’s a big, burly, red-headed highlander, and she’s a dark Welsh lass known as The Lionness… this one is going to be FUN, so you’ll definitely want to read this short story to prep you for the bigger novel to come! My first real Highlander novel!
