I usually plan my publishing schedule about five years out. I know (generally) what books I’m going to publish in a year, but that list can and does change. I’m very strategic about what I publish, and when, and I am more than happy to kick off 2022 with a de Velt and de Wolfe novel in continuing series.

In The Dark Angel, we get to meet Julian de Velt, the shy and somewhat reclusive de Velt brother. I feel sorry for Julian because in the two-colored eye feature that happens in the de Velt family, he got the brunt of it – one eye is brown and one eye is green, so his heterochromia is really pronounced, which makes him very self-conscious. In WolfeShield, we meet Ronan de Wolfe, whom we’ve seen in several of the De Wolfe Pack Generations books. He’s kind of the ‘baby’ of the older grandsons, but he’s got a whopper of a tale. The baby has grown up!
